law of success

First law of success

"Nothing can stop a person's journey toward success. If a person does not become frustrated, then his nature would automatically guide him and take him to an unbelievably great destination." - Maulana Wahiduddin Khan

The British physicist and mathematician Isaac Newton (1642-1727) is famous for the formulation of the laws of motion. The third law of motion states that for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. But, there is also another law which was demonstrated in Newton’s own life. This may be called the first law of human success.

Newton’s father died three months before he was born. His mother soon did a second marriage. In this way, Newton was practically deprived of his parents’ love. A biographer of Newton’s has observed about him: “Basically treated as an orphan, Isaac did not have a happy childhood.” Apparently, this was a minus point of Newton’s life, but in reality it became his life’s greatest plus point.

During his childhood days, Newton did not have any attraction for the outside world. Due to this, he started to live in his own world. He was therefore called a wool-gatherer, which means an absent-minded person. But it was later learnt that Newton was not really absent-minded, rather he was a very focused person. As a result of this intellectual habit, he was able to discover great scientific laws.

For a child who does not receive the love and favour of his parents, this apparently is a minus point, but according to the law of nature it turns into a plus point for him.

A human being is born with unlimited potential. Nothing can stop a person’s journey toward success.

Because, this causes such a person to engage in thinking. He develops the quality of self-thinking and is able to unfold his hidden potentials. Thus, he becomes a more focused mind. In this sense, his minus point prove to be a plus point for him.

This is not just the story of a person, it is more than that. It is the story of nature. Newton’s life is a demonstration of a very important law of nature. That is, a human being is born with unlimited potential. Nothing can stop a person’s journey toward success. If a person does not become frustrated, then his nature would automatically guide him and take him to an unbelievably great destination.

There are many examples in history of persons who suffered in their early life, faced difficulties and became victims of various kinds of shortcomings. However, because they did not become disheartened, their nature continuously guided them. Their nature channelised them towards a place they could not even think of in their early life.

In life, people often have to face unwanted situations, for example, orphanage, accidents, material loss, incomplete education, receiving no inheritance, failure in attaining a good job, and so on. But those who, in spite of these shortcomings, never lose their courage and continue to make relentless efforts, emerge as super-achievers in the end.
