How to unlock our inner power through the art of forgiveness

The art of forgiveness

Sister Shivani writes, "Forgiveness is not just about letting go, it is also about carrying love for the other soul for life in the future."

All of us make mistakes despite having a choice of not making it. It all depends on our inner power, perspective, and judgement at that moment. Just as we expect to receive forgiveness for our mistakes, we need to focus on giving it.

The word itself says for ‘give’. Forgiveness is not just about letting go, it is also about carrying love for the other soul for life in the future. It does not erase the past but looks upon people and situations with greater compassion, mercy, and love.

When creating a new painting, if colours are applied incorrectly on canvas and left to dry, it becomes difficult to remove or blend them with the right colours at a later stage. Similarly, when we catch the mind painting a negative picture of a person, we should immediately repaint it with colours of virtues.

It brings a beautiful transformation within us, an acknowledgment of our inner power as well as unconditional acceptance.

This is forgiveness in action. Procrastinating or taking too long to forgive may make the negative colours too stubborn to replace, takes longer and makes the effort harder. Without forgiveness, the ego becomes more powerful in our consciousness kills our ability to love. We become far more judgemental and critical about people. But when we forgive, we surrender ego and let compassion flow.

We care for our own emotional welfare apart from our relationships. It brings a beautiful transformation within us, an acknowledgment of our inner power as well as unconditional acceptance. Regular meditation and study of spiritual principles are spiritual tools that increase inner power and foster unconditional forgiveness.

Forgiveness is the kindest word that spelled by highest spiritual souls like Jesus Christ that made him incarnation of god; also greatest social reformers like Gandhi ji that designated as Mahatma of the Indian nation. But the same forgiveness seems hardest to handle for the 99% of eagoist mindset of common men who forget who they are in their life. Their body has been borrowed from their mother, their name, food, cloth, shelter and education is born by their parents, but they dream like lord of their own life, which forced them to leave a quagmire life without any clarity of their own life – Who they are? Where they come from? What is the purpose of their life? And where they are destined to? All they are leading a confused, rudderless life comes and goes aimless and unrecognised even by their near and dear ones. As some one said , “At the end of the day our dearest wealth which we keep in our close to

Wealth we keep in our closed locker doesn’t budge an inch, the second close friends and relatives can only go upto the burial ground to seeoff us, but the only neglected and never recognised friend called our karmic record only goes along us for our life’s pleading before God for our justification of our life lived. Hence, it is the eagoistic bent of our mind is the real culprit that force us to live a devilish life. The only sharpest weapon to destroy our useless ego, satires up into our brain and force us to live a confused and aimless life is, our daily chant to the creator of this universe who sent us fitting His chip called soul, untill He take out it we are bound to live with pain or pleasure. Our daily chanting of ‘AUM’ on morning and evening bestow us with divine power to live close His care and protection; and forgiveness and service to fellow living being become our sole karmic path.
